"The more you celebrate and praise your life; the more there is in life to feel blessed about."
The school corridors reverberated with sounds of applause and delight when Grade V and VIII students staged song and dance performances to celebrate Lohri, the festival that marks the end of long winter nights and signifies the return of bright sunny days. The MPSiets were briefed about the harvest festivals and its different names in different parts of India.
The cultural knowledge of such festival was fostered by a folk dance with savory popcorns, peanuts and ‘revaris’.
The School Principal, Ms. Bela Chadha
congratulated the students and the staff on this occasion of Lohri.
