Keeping this notion in mind, MPS Vedvyaspuri observed Fit India Week from 25 November to 30 November, 2019.
This much awaited activity was conducted with the motive to enhance physical health of the MPSiets and the educators.
Day-1 The programme began with yoga asana and various activities of fitness and nutrition like Surya Namskar, Utkatasana, Chandrasana, Virabhadrasana-1 and 2 Vrikshasana and Padamastasana.
Day 2 DAY 02: In morning assembly about 150 the students of kindergarten took part in light free hand exercise. Not only our toddlers but the teachers too took initiative in this exercise.
A Group Discussion was conducted between the students of Class IX-A and B. The topic of the discussion was "Physical fitness vs Mental fitness."
Day 3 After the successful completion of 2nd day of Fit India School Week, Meerut Public School, Vedvyaspuri observed its 3rd day with glitz and glory on 27th November, 2019. It was a day filled with fervour and exhilaration, amidst thrills and cheers . the 3rd day commenced with –
‘Fitness Assessment’ programme- measuring height and weight for BMI test.
Later the day was followed by Poster Making Competition for all the students on the theme ‘FIT BODY – FIT MIND-FIT ENVIRONMENT ‘.
Day 4 Meerut Public School, Vedvyaspuri observed the fourth day of Fit India School Week vehemently on 28th November, 2019. Almost all the students participated and performed the activities like skipping rope, aerobics and martial arts with gusto and enthusiasm.
Day 5 The 5th Day of Fit India School Week was observed in our campus with great zeal. The day was embarked with a Quiz on Fitness and Sports for the students from class 8. An Inter Class Quiz competition was conducted between VIII-A and B. The students were energetic and enthusiastically participated in the Quiz.
Their knowledge in the field of sports amazed everyone.
