Children's Day Celebration 2019

“Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future.

- John F. Kennedy

Children are God’s best creation. They spread happiness and joy wherever they go with their innocence and love. Children’s Day is celebrated all over India on November 14 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Indian Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It is celebrated to pay tribute to the great leader of the country who worked for the benefit of children all over the nation.

We all wish to take childhood memories with us so that we can blow it into a bubble and live inside it forever. So, all the teachers of Meerut Public School, Vedvyaspuri retreated into their childhood bubbles to celebrate Children’s Day. The assembly was attended by our respected Principal ma’am, staff members and the MPSiets.

Celebrations began with a prayer service conducted by teachers followed by the thought for the day, humorous news, a motivational story and fun facts. A solo singing performance by Ms. Amita Asthana  was a treat to the ears. They made the children aware that they are the real future of the country. The importance of Children’s Day was also shared. This was followed by a melodious song by the teachers.

The assembly turned out to be very entertaining and informative. The teachers exhibited immense enthusiasm and inspired all to move ahead in life with grace and courage. The principal, Ms. Bela Chadha encouraged students with her words of wisdom. The assembly concluded with the national anthem.
