Diwali Celebration

“It is time to remove the darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge instead”. 

‘The festival of lights’ came alive at Meerut Public School, Vedvyaspuri on the 25th of October, 2019 when the whole school wore a festive look with Diyas and lanterns adorning the corridors and the assembly hall in bright colours. While celebrating Diwali in the School, the students of Class Ist led the way in spreading the message of celebrating safe and pollution free Eco-friendly Diwali by making posters on "Green Diwali". 

“Candle decoration, Diya making, Garland making, Diya making, Mason Jar Decorations, Toran Making competitions and Chandelier Making were organised to enhance the creative skills of the students.

It was celebrated with an aim to purify the hearts and remove the darkness of ignorance from the entire world.

A Pooja Ceremony was conducted by the staff and the students of the school with complete devotion. The students of Middle Wing sang the Aarti of Lord Vishnu, Lord Ganesh and Goddess Laxmi. On this occasion the respected the Managing Director, Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Shastri, Ms. Richa Sharma, the Advisor of MPS Group and the Principal, Ms. Bela Chadha blessed the children and motivated them to keep the environment clean by saying no to crackers.

The gleam of the diyas, the echo of the chants, the colours of the rangoli and bandhanwars illuminated every MPSiets' mind and enlightened every heart this Diwali. The splendour of this auspicious festival brought joy and happiness beyond measure.
