On the exclusive day of Wednesday, 31 Jan 2018, the sprawling campus of Meerut Public School Main Wing witnessed the effervescent performance dipped in nostalgic moments. The much awaited event started with a floral welcome to the revered Principal Mr. Sanjeev Aggarwal. Class XII students looked apparently graceful, decked in elegant suits and sarees. The event gained momentum with a vivacious band performance as a vote of thanks to the seniors. The audience was flabbergasted with the mesmerizing performance by tiny tots from KG section, thus reviving back the childhood. Different games brought the boys and girls into action and their enthusiasm was evidently perceptible. Shreya and Yash Aggarwal were declared the winners of the games.
The Certificates were also awarded to the Senior Council Members of Class XII to applaud their hard work and upholding their posts with integrity and sincerity. The customary ceremony of ‘Old Order Changeth……..’ was also performed on stage where the Senior Council Members passed on the Candle of hope, austerity and luck to the Junior Council Members of Class XI, with a wish that the School motto “To greater heights” is enlivened. The Head Girl Deepa Mishra shared her experience of her journey at MPS and her mantra of life. The stage was set ablaze when the contestants of Miss & Mr. MPS graced the stage. Going through Introduction & Elimination round, Judges Question round, the most deserving contestants grabbed the elite and coveted titles.
Vanshika was given the title of Miss Charming Smile, Usabh jain was chosen as Mr. All rounder, Hammad Rizwan was chosen was Mr. Dependable, Pallavi was awarded the title of Miss Crowing Glory whereas Srishti Chaudhary was selected as Miss Graceful. Lakshay Aneja was selected as Mr. Charismatic. Deepa Mishra was chosen as Miss Farewell unanimously. Yash Aggarwal was chosen as Mr. Farewell. The most coveted title of Miss & Mr. MPS was given to Nishta & Avinash Kumar respectively. All these deserving candidates were selected on the parameters of their presentation, confidence, grooming, attitude and their answers to different questions put up by the Judges – Mrs. Rakhee Singh, Mrs. Monika Taneja and Mrs. Rekha Sharma respectively. With a wish that students may fare well in all walks of life, Principal Sir extended his best wishes to the outgoing batch of class XII that they outshine in all the endeavors in their metaphorical journey as they set sail for sunnier horizons and happier shores. The school Head Boy Vishal Chaudhary extended a vote of thanks to the teacher fraternity and wished all the best to his Colleagues. The students would really reminisce the fun filled days at school and would ooze with emotions to go out of the portals of their alma-mater.
