Road Safety Awareness Seminar

A traffic awareness seminar was held at Meerut Public School, Main Wing on 22 July, 2019 by representatives from Mishika Society, Meerut. Mr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, the spokesperson gave an informative lecture to the students making them aware about different traffic symbols.

He informed the students that owing to the violation of traffic rules Indian roads have become very unsafe, especially for school children. He made students aware of the newly passed Road Safety Juvenile Driving Laws. They were encouraged to follow the rules because even the slightest of mistake made on the road can lead to fatal accident. The representative appealed to the students to follow traffic rules and stressed upon was the importance of wearing a helmet and having a Driving License. He even told them the steps involved in procuring a Driving License.

The School Principal, Dr. Shikha Koak thanked Mr. Sunil for instilling a feeling of responsibility among the students and briefing them about the various traffic rules that ought to be followed in order to maintain safety on roads.
