Instilling traditional values in our students has been an important part of the curriculum in MPS Pallavpuram, so the Christmas was celebrated on the 22 of December '21 in Kindergarten and on 23 of December '21 in Primary Section with great zeal and joy.
In keeping with the Christmas spirit, the whole premises was festooned with colourful decorations. The children and teachers came attired in red and white. The Programme began in the presence Madam Principal, Mrs Chitra Sharma.
The wing wore a festive look. Wherein the Kindergarten students relished during fun games activities, story time and in the special movie show arrayed for them.
Celebration in Primary initiated with a week long special Christmas Assembly on the theme 'Sharing is Caring'. It all began with a prayer to the Lord to bless every soul on this earth and to thank him for the many blessings he has showered on us. Students shared Jesusโs teachings.The major attraction of the day was the still act that exhibited the birth of Jesus Christ in a manger. Little students in the attires of angels and the Three Wise Men stole everybodyโs heart. Melodious Carols reverberated in the air as the birth of the Lord was announced. But the most alluring moment was the arrival of Santa who enraptured everyone present with his charm and mystique. The next major event of the day was the competition conducted, on theme Christmas, where all the students participated very enthusiastically. It was an opportunity for everyone to display their artistic talents in Cap Decoration, Candle Decoration, Non Fire Cooking, Christmas Tree Decoration and Wreath Making competitions. Madam Principal extended her greetings to everyone. She shared her views on sincerity and honesty. The day ended on a happy note with the tiny tots imbibing the true message of Christmas - love, joy and goodwill to all.
