“Plastics give a helpful hand, but they are polluting our land!”
In a bid to raise awareness about the very disregarded and pressing issue of plastic pollution on the planet, MPS Pallavpuram celebrated the 'International Plastic Bag Free day' on 4 June, 2022.
Through a speech in assembly, students were made aware that Plastic waste is dumped in landfills and proves harmful to the marine creatures if it gets washed into oceans.
To spread this noble awareness plethora of activities like Bird House Making, Piggy Bank Making, Flower Pots Making, Pen Stands Making and Flower Baskets Making were conducted wherein students of primary had an exposure in terms of learning. The center of attraction was the awareness rally of the students of Kindergarten, conducted in the school premises, with the motto to stop the usage of plastic.
Students took a pledge to make the planet a better place to live in simply by not using plastic bags and by recycling the plastic which is already in use.
