MAGNUM OPUS

MPGS Shastri Nagar, commemorated ‘Magnum Opus’ its Annual Fest on 23 October 2019 in great fervour, zest, vivacity and elation in the gracious presence of the distinguished Chief Guest Mr. Vikas Sodai, Regional Commissioner Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India) Zonal Office (Delhi and Uttrakhand), illustrious Ms. Neera Sodai, eminent Director Ms. Ketiki Singh Shastri, significant Ms. Richa Sharma advisor MPS Group, admirable Madam Principal, and worthy parents.

Esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Vikas Sodai inaugurated the splendid event. The Director Ms. Ketiki Singh Shastri accorded a floral welcome to the Chief Guest followed by a brief welcome preface by Madam Principal Ms. Sapna Ahuja. The presentation of different departments was contemplated by the dignitaries and the august gathering. The Annual Fest, ‘Magnum Opus’ depicted intrinsic qualities within each of the students. They unfurled their creative talent and prowess and exhibited their keen and active participation. The jaw-dropping presentation tantalized and intrigued everyone. The guiding mentors were appreciated by all.

The lighting of the lamp scattered the pious fragrance and raised the curtain of the event followed by an invocation dance. The sensational performance of the school band left everyone overwhelmed. The event further unfolded its centre of attraction with the presentation ‘A JOURNEY OF MAHATMA’ showing Bapu’s ideology, values and teachings. The well extended moves, musical composition and set of props in primary students’ dance performance engrossed the audience. A magnificent ballet ‘Prayas A New Horizon’ showcasing the eradication of child labour with the tool of education mesmerized everyone.

The event was once again propelled by an eloquent expression shared by the Chief Guest Mr. Vikas Sodai. The presentation of every department enthralled him. He appreciated the dedication, discipline and sincerity of the students and teachers under the aegis of Madam Principal. The Director Ms. Ketiki Singh Shastri extended her heartfelt gratitude for the benign presence of the Chief Guest Mr. Vikas Sodai and infused the gathering with her motivational drizzle.

A cordial gratitude was extended by Madam Principal Ms. Sapna Ahuja. She proposed a vote of thanks to all the dignitaries to give their precious time to make the event successful. Keeping the spirit of festivity alive, she extended her heartiest greetings for the auspicious festival of Diwali. The comparers for the fest ‘Magnum Opus’ 2019 were Jai Shri Som and Kritika Mishra. The culmination of the programme was marked by exhilarating National Anthem.
