Special Assembly Ganesh Chaturthi

Our school recently celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with a special assembly that beautifully combined experiential learning with traditional rituals. The assembly began with an introduction to the significance of Lord Ganesha, known as the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom. Students learned about the festival’s rituals, including idol installation, prayers, and the importance of eco-friendly practices during the festivities.
They also enjoyed a storytelling session on Lord Ganesha's birth and adventures, with some students dressing up and role-playing as Ganesha, making the mythology come to life.
The assembly concluded with reflections on the experience, where students shared their thoughts on the cultural significance and the values they learned. This event was a perfect example of how experiential learning can enhance cultural education, making traditions more engaging and memorable for students.
