Visit to the Government Freedom Struggle Museum

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the students of Grade 5 embarked on a meaningful educational visit to the Government Freedom Struggle Museum. This visit, steeped in the spirit of patriotism, aimed to connect students with India’s rich history of independence through experiential learning.

The museum, showcasing relics from India’s struggle for freedom, offered the children an immersive experience. Walking through the halls, the students observed artifacts, photographs, and documents that vividly narrated the bravery, sacrifices, and determination of freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The exhibits on the non-violent movements led by Gandhi, such as the Dandi March and Quit India Movement, particularly captivated their young minds, deepening their understanding of his philosophy of truth and non-violence.

This hands-on approach helped them grasp the significance of selfless service, courage, and the quest for justice that shaped modern India.

The visit concluded with a reflection session, where students shared their thoughts on the importance of freedom and how they can embody Gandhi’s principles in their own lives.
