Navratri Celebration

Maa Durga symbolizes power, the power of good over evil, the power of virtue over vice. These nine days celebrate the nine diverse forms of Maa Durga, each day a celebration of all that Maa stands for. At the end of these nine days the girls or ‘kanyas’ are worshipped as they are considered to be the ‘roop’ of Maa Durga.

The young girls or ‘kanyas’ of the Primary Section of Meerut Public School For Girls celebrated Maa Durga in all her formidable splendor with a riot of red colour and dandiya raas on 27.9.2017.
