69th Republic Day Celebrated at MPGS Shastri Nagar

On 26^th January 2018, MPGS Shastri Nagar celebrated 69^th Republic Day with great patriotic fervour and zeal. The programme began with the welcome of the Director of MPS Group Mr. Vikram Jeet Singh Shastri followed by the flag hoisting, National Anthem and National Song. Simrah, the student of class V delivered a speech highlighting the importance of Republic Day. The students of Middle section filled the vicinity with their melodious medley of patriotic songs. The elegant dance performance “Glories of India” by the Senior Section students paying heartfelt tribute to the martyrs was the centre of attraction. The Director of MPS Group appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to respect the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. He also encouraged the students to fulfill their bit towards the nation by performing their duties honestly. He also brimmed the teachers with the ripples of his inspirational words emphasizing that teaching task is the construction of the nation that is also a form of showing patriotism. The Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja also enlightened the students to enhance the glory of the nation spreading the fragrance of their success at the global level. She also emphasized on self-awareness to be more meticulous in one’s performance. The programme culminated with the distribution of sweets by the benignant Management.
