16th January 2018, Meerut, Meerut Public Girls’ School Shastri Nagar celebrated its 17th Foundation Day with great fervour. The event commenced with the welcome of the Co-Founder of MPS Group Mrs. Kusum Shastri and the Director of MPS Group Mr. Vikram Jeet Singh Shastri by the Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja presenting them beautiful saplings. Then the tiny tots of KG Section offered their prayers to the Almighty God. The melodious nightingales of the school presented “Saraswati Vandana”. The scintillating dance performance of the students depicted the versatility of the women in different forms very elegantly. The Management also conferred the coveted House Trophy to the House Mistresses and the Vice House Mistresses of Ahilya and Gargi House Mrs. Farmina Adil, Mrs. Mamta Tyagi, Mrs. Seep Ahuja and Mrs. Payal Singh respectively for securing first position together. Telling the grand history of the school and showing the gratitude to the spiritual Guru, Swami Vivekanand Saraswati ji and the founders of the school Mr. T. C Shastri and Mrs. Kusum Shastri, the director of MPS Group, Mr. Vikram Jeet Singh Shastri inspired the students to touch greater heights through his sagacious words. He also guided the teachers to perform their task wholeheartedly to form a better society. He wished for the consistent progress of the school. The programme was culminated with the vote of thanks by the Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Management for setting up such a prestigious institution. She also congratulated the entire staff and the students on this auspicious occasion.
