Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar, Meerut celebrated ‘Fit India School Week’ in the school. A plethora of activities were organized for the students and the staff to make them physically and emotionally stronger to face the day to day challenges of life. The week long activities helped them to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Now they are more aware about the benefits of Active field time. Hence the activities have developed Sports Quotient among all the students.

Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar, had organized yoga in the morning assembly on Day 1 of the Fitness week as yoga means to unite the limited with the unlimited. The students and teachers relaxed themselves doing Yoga.
In continuation of the Fitness week Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar, Meerut organized free exercise for students because a workout enhances body’s aerobics endurance.
On Day 3 of the fitness week Poster Making competition was held in the school for all the students on the theme.“Fit Body-Fit Mind-Fit Environment.”
Believing that ‘exercise should be regarded as a tribute to the heart’, institution organized physical activities session for the students which included dance, aerobics, yoga, martial art, rope skipping and gardening etc.
On day 5 Meerut Public Girls’ School, Shastri Nagar, Meerut organized a Sports Quiz for the students to make them aware about their physical and mental health.
MPGians participated in Basketball competition to celebrate the unity in Diversity of our Nation and to maintain and strengthen the fabric of traditionally existing emotional bonds between the people.
