Lohri Celebration

The midwinter Punjabi folk festival - Lohri, celebrated primarily in the Northern part of India symbolising the passing of the winter solstice was celebrated in MPSTFS on 13th January.

The Primary Wing students came dressed in punjabi attires and performed on folk song. The mutiyaars in jutti and patiyala suit and the gabrus’ in dhoti kurta and saafa gave the message of intercultural harmony and celebrations. The holy fire was lit and was worshipped. The prasad of popcorn, rewri and peanuts was offered to the holy fire and was distributed amongst the students and the teachers.
