Republic Day Celebration 2019

26th January 2019, on the nostalgic occasion of the red letter day, Republic Day was celebrated with pride and patriotism at Meerut Public Girls’ School Shastri Nagar Meerut. On this Special Day, the Constitution was adopted by the Indian Constituent Assembly on 26th November 1949, and came in to effect on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system. The ceremony began with the unfurling of the tricolour by the revered Madam Principal Mrs. Sapna Ahuja. It was entailed by the National Anthem and National Song which soaked everyone in hues of Tricolour. A patriotic song was then performed by the Middle Section leaving the atmosphere charged with a passionate song in the honour of our motherland. An enthusiastic dance performance was also staged which spread the joy of freedom knowing no bounds and celebrating the sovereignty of nation.

The Day was further enlivened by inspiring pronouncement by Madam Principal-Mrs. Sapna Ahuja who motivated the students to uphold the honour, integrity, uniqueness and diversity of their cultural country and identity themselves as the true Indians.
