Overwhelming response to Yoga session at MPS (Main Wing)

To rejuvenate the students from the pangs of the atrocities of stressful life and exorbitant pressure of performance, a yoga session was organized at MPS (Main Wing) under the guidance of Major (Retd.) Bhushan Madaan. Emphasizing upon maintaining a balanced state of mind, he stressed upon that yoga should be a way of life. Followed by few stretches and some traditional "asanas" beneficial for students like 'taadasan', 'vajrasan', 'shashakasan', etc, he also threw light upon easily dismissed habits and patterns of lifestyle. 'Pranayaam', 'asana' and meditation are equally important which help students to concentrate better on studies to give maximum output by focusing on physical and spiritual well being. The session saw an overwhelming participation by the students. A vote of thanks was proposed by the revered Principal Mr. Sanjeev Aggarwal.
